About Us

The all too familiar story starts something like this - I was in a band, I played lead guitar and sang a bit too but the band broke up when the van broke down and left us stranded in Reno. That night after splitting the $27. we hauled in 6 ways, I was reminded of the line in that famous Johnny Cash tune. Y'all know the one. Trust me when I tell you that if you've ever spent any kind of time in that town, that feeling is bound to come over you eventually. Since I had never been seduced by the roar of the crowd anyway (nor did I wish to face an inevitable manslaughter charge) I decided right then and there that my talents were tragically being misapplied and that it was time to focus my energies into something more positive, by relocating to the other end of the venue. So began a career of mixing behind a sound reinforcement console.

Gear was purchased, road cases were bought and built to keep it all safe, personnel were hired, then came more gear along with trucks to move it all, a passport was obtained, a studio was built - it goes on and on. At times I probably earned more miles than money but I've never regretted the decision and have thoroughly enjoyed a rewarding career working with all sorts of talented folks on stages and in studios across the globe.
